    Peaceful mind

     
     
     
    One of my very good friends recent blog really made me to think.
    The first thing which stroke my mind is why have wemade our lifes so complicated?
    In every aspect.  And every sence.
    There is much to life than following the simple rules.
    It sure sounds ok not to interfere in others business unless asked.
    Who knows how the world would have been....?....
    If the likes of Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luthar King, Abraham Lincon had not interfered....
    If the likes Gautam Buddha, Swami Vivekananda had ignored the feeling of interfering in common men's struggle for existance....
    If Lord Krishna had choosen to distance himself from interfering in the clash between step brothers...
    So, its advisable to interfere in any situation if it serves a larger purpose.
     
    There is no rule that jealousy can be only distructive..
    And every healthy jealousy leads to a better result.
    Take for instance in sports.
    A sports person can achieve bette,r if he/she feels jealous of others achievements..
    Lets say no to destructive jealousy and welcome compitatie healthy jealosuy.
     
     
    Recognition is some thing which runs away if some one carves for it.
    Every single person on this earth has his/her own value and reason for being here. 
    The key is to understand the self's potential and be dedicated to it.
    Recognition comes searching:
     
    Be a Roman while in Rome i the most dangerous saying of all.
    Every person is unique and this kills the uniqueness of every person.
    And I strongly support who ever wants to preserve this uniquness.
     
    And Lastly, there is a difference between biting more than we can chew and aiming for things we really want.
    I say dont ever raise your hand to touch the sky...
    But,
    if you ever rise it, dont let it down until and unless you can touch it.
     
    Lets Live our life fruitfully. Some hurdles may try to stop us. Lets not give ourselves up to things who others think best suited for us.

    Very wise words Ajay
    I think that all too often I allow myself
    to complicate my own life
    And then...something very simple and true will happen
    to help me realise that...life is FAR more enjoyable when
    it's so much simpler

    Going on well...enjoying the pleasant weather this week; evening roamings to the food court nearby are the high points of the day... work wise have less to do but enough to keep employed :) Have to get back to cartooning regularly and put out some on sillygloop.

    interfering as u say for a larger purpose.

    Very inspirational...as for peaceful mind versus fulfilled mind, I'd go with the latter... even small victories achieved in a long battle are very fulfilling compared to not being a part of the battle when needed :)

    Yes, I agree all the points you've written here are useful to have a so called successful life but not for a peaceful mind..
    there's a vast difference between having a fulfilled mind and peaceful mind....
    You may fulfill your mind with some victory but that peace will be gone in a moment when you want to persive another victory.. there's no ending for it.. and true it is the success of man kind...and we have boasted so much about victory of human kind
    But where is the peace we all are searching for?
    The great characters you mentioned above never interfered.. they made us understood with leading exemplary lives and making us realize things by our own selves
