    Me and Swamy Vivekananda

    From past few days, I was in a impression that I'm going thru a lean phase..

    I was thinking why in the whole world I'm being subjected to the things I'm going thru.

    One good thing I have always done is, when ever I'm down I try to reach to Swamy vivekananda.

    As if he listens to me and speaks to me.

    Last night I spent a whole lot of time with him. (reading his biography)

    I asked him why, why and a lot of why's.

    He said ---

     

    When I Asked God for Strength
    He Gave Me Difficult Situations to Face

    When I Asked God for Brain & Brown
    He Gave Me Puzzles in Life to Solve

    When I Asked God for Happiness
    He Showed Me Some Unhappy People

    When I Asked God for Wealth
    He Showed Me How to Work Hard

    When I Asked God for Favors
    He Showed Me Opportunities to Work Hard

    When I Asked God for Peace
    He Showed Me How to Help Others

    God Gave Me Nothing I Wanted
    But, He Gave Me Everything I Needed.

    Tough times don't last; tough people do. These words are indeed thought provoking, and I think of the same a few times. When faced with all these in our career though, we just jump companies :) Hope things get better soon.

    The beach is relatively clean thanks to the high tide clearing away most of the garbage. There's a group that works to clean up Elliots beach regularly and is funded by local businesses. Without such maintenance they would be sorry places to be in. At my end, have enough work on my plate, and spending this weekend in Bangalore with a wedding to attend on Sun-Mon...so busy weekend I guess. Take care!
